CHAMPIONS’ ARENA 2024 – GENERAL INFORMATION

As announced last year in France, on November 16^th and 17^th the LudoSport Champions’ Arena 2024 will take place in Milan, Italy, birthplace of the LudoSport Network!

The event will be hosted by LudoSport Alpha in collaboration with LudoSport International and INCOM and it will involve the best athletes of LightSaber Combat from many different countries. A side tournament and convivial moments (PorkSide!) will allow every fellow LudoSporter to enjoy this weekend as real protagonists!

The Venue

The CA tournament and the side events will take place at Centro Pavesi FIPAV, a modern and beautiful sports venue located in the north-west area of Milan.
It’s the same venue in which CA 2017 and 2018 took place, and we are glad to return in a place that keeps so many memories of our LudoSport history.

The Champions’ Arena

The main tournament that will crown the best LudoSport athletes of 2024, will take place on Saturday, November 16^th, starting in the morning and estimated to end around 6:00 pm the same day. (a more precise schedule will be shared in the upcoming weeks).

The tournament will involve the best 64 athletes selected from the different LudoSport countries. The names of the athletes will be publicly announced starting from September. (a communication to the Rectors has been already sent, indicating the numbers of selected athletes for each country).

The Team Tournament

On the morning of Sunday November 17^th a team tournament will take place in the same venue of the CA. It will be an open event that will involve any LS pupil that would like to participate. Rules and details about this event will be soon revealed and the registration for this tournament will start from September 5^th.

Accommodation

We have a partner Hotel for the event.
Hotel Mirage ****, is located 5 minutes walking from the venue and it will reserve special prices for all the LudoSport pupils and companions.

Single Room: € 74,00
Double Room: € 89,00
Triple Room: € 102,00

All rooms include international breakfast, Wi-Fi, use of the hotel Gym, complementary mineral water in room. City tax (5€ per night per person) is not included.

The prices are valid for any number of nights.

If the partner Hotel does not suit you, Milan is full of alternatives. We suggest you check the main booking sites for options.

How to reach Venue/Partner Hotel

• By car: the streets around the venue are with free-parking lines (white). The venue also has a parking that will be available during the days of the event.
• By train: the nearest station is Milano Villapizzone FS . You can reach it with City Train Lines S5 – S6 – S11, as well as some regional trains.
  If you arrive in Milan Central Station we suggest you to take M2 subway line to Milano Garibaldi FS and then pick one the city train lines to Villapizzone FS.
• By plane:
  – If you land at Linate: take the M4 Subway Line up to Dateo station. Then change to S5 – S6 or S11 city train line to Milano Villapizzone FS. Estimated time: 50 minutes.
  – If you land at Malpensa: take the Malpensa Express Train to Milano Cadorna FS. The take tram line number 1 (direction Roserio) and stop at Piazzale Accursio. Estimated time: 80 minutes.
  – If you land at Orio al Serio (Bergamo): take the shuttle bus to Milan Central Station, then follow the indications in the “by train” section. Estimated time 120 minutes.

Pork Side Night
